Director, microEPC – the Microelectronics, Electronics and Photonics Cluster Expert in business development and international cooperation.

Manages operations of the employers’ association of Polish photonics industry and its extension: the Microelectronics, Electronics and Photonics Cluster (microEPC).

Graduate of law and national security studies, he joined public service working on expert positions in Ministry of Defence, Chancellery of Parliament and Supreme Administrative Court. Following that he worked as a manager in Polish and European technology industry. Experienced in international security, European Union, international cooperation initiatives, business development and market strategies.

Through comprehensive market advisory services, she supports domestic and foreign investors in the implementation of new investment projects in Poland, particularly those in the high-tech and semiconductor industries.

She has been with the PAIH agency since 2016, when she was entrusted with the mission to establish the first-ever PAIH foreign trade office in Singapore. The pioneering mission gave birth to PAIH's global network of representative offices around the world. In Singapore, Agnieszka began actively promoting Poland's technological potential, which she continues today at PAIH headquarters.


Agnieszka Szweda has 25 years of experience in promoting international trade, developing economic and investment cooperation on behalf of the government sector. Before starting her mission at PAIH, she participated in numerous international projects for bilateral trade and investment cooperation between Poland and foreign countries. She worked in departments responsible for economic cooperation at the British Embassy (UKTI), the Malaysian Trade Office MATRADE and the Philippine Embassy.

Agnieszka's career in the public sector began in 1999 in Silesia. Until 2003. Agnieszka managed the Investor Service Center at the Marshal's Office of the Silesian Voivodeship, the first such regional center dedicated to foreign investors. Since then, she has been continuously involved in promoting Poland internationally, connecting Polish companies and technologies with partners from around the world.

For the past three years, Agnieszka has been involved in building an ecosystem for the semiconductor industry in Poland and handling strategic semiconductor investments. She pursues her mission for the semiconductor industry by, among other things, consistently building relationships and enhancing cooperation in the industry between Poland and Taiwan.

It has supported numerous strategic partnerships between Poland and Taiwan, actively engaging in
in matching business interests of Polish and Taiwanese partners. Initiated PAIH's presence at the world's largest semiconductor event, SEMICON TAIWAN in Taipei, and since the first edition of the Polish Pavilion in 2023 has served as coordinator of the Polish agenda at this strategic annual event.
